Our Faith

Statement of Beliefs

At The Temple Lotus, we honor the sacred journey of awakening, healing, self-discovery, and spiritual transformation. Like the lotus that emerges through the mud, we believe every person carries within them the innate potential to rise beyond suffering, remember their true nature, and awaken to a deeper relationship with life, spirit, and community.

We believe the Divine is infinite, living, and present throughout all existence — within nature, within one another, and within the depths of our own consciousness. We believe spiritual truth may be encountered through direct experience, contemplation, prayer, meditation, ceremony, service, communion with the natural world, and personal revelation.

We welcome seekers of all backgrounds, traditions, and paths who approach this community with sincerity, humility, reverence, and respect. We honor freedom of spiritual exploration and affirm that no single tradition holds exclusive claim to truth.

We believe all life is interconnected and sacred. We strive to live in harmony with the Earth, recognizing nature as both teacher and sanctuary, and to cultivate compassion, stewardship, and loving presence toward all beings.

We believe healing is a sacred process that includes the mind, body, heart, and spirit. Through intentional practices, community support, and spaces for inner reflection and growth, we seek greater wholeness, authenticity, and connection.

We believe that ceremony, when approached with reverence, preparation, responsibility, and sacred intention, may serve as a doorway to insight, healing, remembrance, and spiritual expansion.

We recognize entheogenic sacraments as sacred tools that, within intentional ceremonial practice, may support contemplation, personal transformation, spiritual inquiry, and connection to the Divine. Within our tradition, 5-MeO-DMT (Bufo) is regarded as a sacred sacrament and approached with deep respect, ethical stewardship, informed consent, and intentional integration.

We believe that spiritual awakening is not an escape from life, but an invitation to embody greater compassion, integrity, wisdom, and love in service to ourselves, our communities, and the world.
