Bufo · 5-MeO-DMT
Our sole sacrament is 5-MeO-DMT — a powerful entheogen and Divine Medicine sourced from the glandular secretion of the Sonoran Desert Toad, known as Bufo Alvarius. It is often called “The God Molecule.”
The sacrament can facilitate a profound state of Divine connection, unity, surrender, and spiritual remembrance. Participants may experience unity with God, Divine Love, Source, or Samadhi — many describe vast white light, unconditional love, deep comfort, safety, and peace. The journey is associated with ego dissolution, non-dual awareness, and a direct experience of unity — what is known as Nirvikalpa Samadhi.
The experience can prove intense, potentially bringing fear, grief, anger, tears, depersonalization, disorientation, or unresolved trauma to the surface. This is part of the cathartic, healing nature of the medicine. The active journey lasts approximately 15 minutes — but this is only the beginning; integration unfolds over days, weeks, and months.
Seven-day avoidance list: recreational drugs, alcohol, red meat, and contraindicated medications (SSRIs, SNRIs, MAOIs, antidepressants). No caffeine the morning of ceremony.
Every ceremony is held in Las Vegas, Nevada, as a protected, reverent container. The flow is unhurried and held with care from the first breath to the closing circle:
To preserve the container, we ask: no children, pets, or non-participants; no phones or filming; and no other substances before or during ceremony. A doctrine of no-touch is observed — facilitators intervene only for safety, and only at your request.
5-MeO-DMT is one of the most potent entheogens available. Solo use risks loss of bodily control, falls, involuntary thrashing, purging (risk of asphyxiation), and psychological emergencies. Our trained, CPR / BLS / AED-certified facilitators provide pre-screening, preparation, intensity management, physical and psychological support, medical readiness, and integration guidance. The sacrament is never served to someone journeying alone.
The sacrament is not suitable for those with:
Those taking SSRIs, SNRIs, MAOIs, or antidepressants must consult their prescribing physician before participating. We are not licensed medical professionals. Please consult your physician before making any changes to medication.
Bufo Alvarius is listed as “Least Concern” by the IUCN. We treat the toad reverently, as a sacred emissary of the Divine Creator, and honor sustainable, ethical sourcing of the sacrament.
As a nonprofit religious community, our ceremony is offered on a donation basis. Your contribution sustains the sanctuary, the facilitators, and the integration support we provide.
